We’re excited to promote this joint event by MunichNLP and the Codex community in Munich.

Join us on 20.05.2026 from 18:30 to 21:00 for an evening centered on Codex — OpenAI’s coding agent that helps developers build and ship faster. Hosted at Cognita Reply, this event brings together people interested in AI-assisted coding, modern software engineering workflows, and the growing role of coding agents in day-to-day development.

The evening will feature the latest Codex updates, live demos, and practical insights from people actively working with these tools. Whether you are already using coding agents or are simply curious about how they are changing the way software is built, this event is designed as a space to learn, exchange ideas, and meet others from the local community.
The program includes Codex Updates by a Codex Ambassador and “Beyond Vibe-Coding: A Practitioner’s Guide to Spec-Driven Development in AI Engineering” by Alina Dallmann. In her talk, Alina explores a key challenge in AI-assisted coding: not just generating code quickly, but ensuring that code reflects intent, follows best practices, and integrates cleanly into existing systems. Using a realistic example from production-grade retrieval-augmented generation systems, she presents Spec-Driven Development (SDD) as a practical way to work more effectively with AI coding tools.

We’ll also have demos as part of the evening. If you want to show how you use Codex or share a project you built with it, you can indicate this in the registration form and include a short description o
