My Desiring Unsaid: Writers’ Room with Henry Broome
A memoir/essay workshop on writing desire through keepsake gifting, confessional correspondences, book swapping and other votive exchanges, searching out uncorrelate emotions that exists in excess of material fact and physical attachment, when words become the cauls of the unsaid and sweat-stuck flesh won’t provide final proof.
Henry Broome, our first writer-in-residence, leads a workshop of writing exercises, readings and discussion on desire, non-attainment and endlessly desiring desire.
Readings and writing materials will be provided.
