Family art workshop accompanying the exhibition Radka Bodzewicz: FAUST.

Artist Radka Bodzewicz draws inspiration from literary stories: poetry, prose, and philosophical texts. In her paintings, she tells these stories in such a way that you can wander through them with your eyes for a long time and constantly discover new plot twists. And at DOX, she will tell the story of the familiar yet mysterious figure of Doctor Faust—a tale filled with the human desire for knowledge, love, but also power and fame. Who among us doesn’t know someone like Faust in their circle, or within themselves? What do we truly long for, and what demands does the modern world place on us? What must we do, and what would we rather do without?

The family art workshop will draw on truly beautiful and rich inspiration from the exhibition, but the workshop itself will actually be modest—can ordinary paper, paints, brushes, and water be enough for a person to express themselves today? Can we just sit down together for a moment and... let go and relax?
