Our final Day at Leap

Ka Kite to our Leap Community!

With a full heart and immense gratitude, I’m sharing the decision to close LEAP. On Sunday, 19 July 2026, LEAP & Megazone Hamilton will say its final goodbye — coincidentally happening just before my 40th birthday.

This journey started as a dream, blossoming into a real family entertainment center where laughter echoed, families connected, and countless memories were crafted.

As a mum of five and an educator for over 20 years, my experience here has been one of the most rewarding of my life. I envisioned a place where my children could thrive, alongside my big brother Matua Ez, making it even more special.

LEAP has challenged and stretched me, imparting lessons I never expected. I’m deeply proud of what we built and the impact it had on families, local schools, and community groups. However, the next stage of growth requires investment that I can’t commit to alone, leading me to this bittersweet decision.

There’s no sadness in this choice, only gratitude:

• Grateful for every child who celebrated 🎈
• Grateful for every staff member and supporter 🌟

If LEAP has been a part of your family's story, we invite you to join us for one last time! Enjoy a final play session, laser tag game, party, ice cream, or slushy! Bring your whānau and friends to celebrate everything LEAP has been and make a few more unforgettable memories together.
