Join us for an unforgettable overnight adventure on the stunning island of Härön, just outside Tjörn! 🌟

We'll hike approximately 2 km from the ferry to the designated outdoor wind shelter, where camping is permitted. After setting up our tents, we’ll embark on an exploration of the island’s breathtaking coastline, lush forests, and natural beauty.

Our adventure includes a special quest to find Mareld (bioluminescent plankton). During the day, we’ll scout potential spots, and if we find a promising area, we’ll return after dark to witness the magical glow of the sea! Don’t forget to bring a headlamp or flashlight to help guide us safely along the trails as night falls.

In the evening, we’ll gather around a campfire (weather permitting) and enjoy grilling together at the shelter. Feel free to bring any food you’d like to cook! 🍢

Since we’ll be near the water, remember to pack your swimming clothes if you're in the mood for a refreshing dip! 🌊

Important to Know

• The hike from the ferry to the campsite is around 2 km, but we’ll also explore the entire island.
  There’s a public toilet available near the camping area. According to maps, there may be a drinking water tap, but it’s wise to bring sufficient water for the hike and our first evening.
