What does it actually look like to pitch a tech-for-good idea to a room full of strangers?
Pitch & Demo is Better.sg's open call for tech-for-good project ideas. It's the night where the community come together, and where ideas find their people.
The evening has two parts. First, you'll hear demos from active Better.sg volunteer-led projects and our VTO Programme, giving you a real look at what our community is already building. Then, new teams take the stage to pitch ideas they want to bring to life.
Each team gets 5 to 8 minutes on stage, pitching their idea or demoing what they've already built. You'll hear about the problems they're solving, who they're building for, and where they're headed next. The community listens, asks questions, and if something clicks, collaborations happen.
One thing to know upfront: Better.sg only accepts projects that are non-profit and non-commercial. This means projects do not charge end users or generate personal revenue. If you're exploring a commercial idea, this may not be the right fit, but you're still very welcome to attend and connect with the community.
