Foodman (食品まつり a.k.a foodman) is an innovative electronic musician hailing from Nagoya, Japan. Influenced by Chicago footwork and his Okinawan roots, he crafts a unique sound that meshes new age, ambient, and various musical genres. 🎧

Since debuting with his album Shokuhin on New York's Orange Milk in 2012, he has consistently released music across multiple labels, including Mad Decent and Palto Flats. His international tours have brought him to renowned festivals such as Unsound and Low End Theory, and he has served as a resident at NTS Radio in London.

His recent projects include the album Yasuragi Land, recognized as one of Pitchfork’s “Best Electronic Music of 2021,” and his latest release, Uchigawa Tankentai with Hyperdub. Currently, Foodman is on tour to celebrate his new album, HIKARIGASASHIKOMU, released on July 24th.
