Poetry Meeting

Join us for an enchanting evening of poetry at the Poetry Group! ✍️ We gather every other month to share and critique each other's works in a round-table format.

📍 Location: The cozy Book Bar, conveniently located near Tanjong Pagar MRT, where you can also enjoy food, light snacks, and refreshing drinks! 🍷🍰 Get ready for a delightful night filled with poetry and camaraderie. As our gracious hosts, Book Bar encourages us to support them—please consider purchasing at least one drink during our meeting.

General Group Notes:

• For poem submissions, please email us at Singaporewritersnetwork@gmail.com with the subject line and file name formatted as: poems_submission_(your name). Submissions not following this format will be deleted.
• Only 7 submissions will be accepted per meeting (one per person), but if you’re submitting a short form poem, like a haiku, you can submit up to two.
• Do review all submissions before the meetup
• Uploads are due the day before the meeting.
• For submission guidelines, please refer to these rules.
• Discussions and file sharing are facilitated through a private Slack group that you can join as a member.
• If you’re new to our group or have questions, reach out to Alaa or Eneida for the latest monthly reading list.
