🏛️ WHAT'S PRACTICAL PHILOSOPHY ABOUT?
Practical Philosophy is an informal weekly meetup that brings critical thinkers together for an opportunity to dive deep on a topic, practice communicating, and build a community. All with no ‘official’ philosophy knowledge required! 😎

The idea is that philosophy should be accessible to all, not just academics. Each week, we choose a topic to develop our critical thinking, listening skills, and communication as we explore it.

The goal is to help develop our Critical Thinking, Communication, and Community 🙌

📓 HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each week, we pick one topic for discussion, shared in the meetup events comments section or the optional-to-join WhatsApp group, along with jump-off points to consider.

When groups exceed 7-8 people, we break into smaller groups to maintain a conversational flow rather than a discourse, debate, or lecture.

📋 GENERAL MEETING AGENDA
We start promptly. It’s important for everyone to hear the introduction, discussion guidelines, and the week’s topic jump-off points, especially if you are new.

RSVP on Meetup for you and any guests is mandatory. If you or any guests haven’t RSVP’d, you will be asked to do so before joining the discussion. By RSVPing to our events and attending, you acknowledge.
