Purrs & Tales (Ages 5-12)

Join us for Purrs & Tales, a delightful literacy program at the Humane Society of North Central Florida! This fantastic initiative is designed to help children, ages 5-12, build their reading confidence while spending quality time with lovable adoptable shelter cats and kittens. 🐾

In a calm and supportive environment, children can practice reading aloud, gaining skills and self-assurance as they share stories with their feline friends. For our younger participants, we have special Pop-Up Kitten Storytime sessions that inspire joy and imagination.

This program not only fosters a love of reading but also cultivates empathy and enriches the lives of our animals. It’s a fun and engaging way to make positive connections with literature!
