Purrs & Tales (Ages 5-12)

Join us for Purrs & Tales, a delightful literacy program at the Humane Society of North Central Florida! This initiative is designed to help children aged 5–12 build reading confidence while cozying up with our adorable adoptable shelter cats and kittens.

In a calm and supportive environment, children can practice reading aloud alongside their feline companions. Younger children are encouraged to enjoy our Pop-Up Kitten Storytime sessions, making reading a fun and engaging experience!

This program promotes literacy, empathy, and animal enrichment, helping children cultivate a positive connection with reading.
