Join us for a monumental series of evening lectures celebrating the rich history of Detroit! In 2026, we commemorate:

  • 325 years since Detroitโ€™s first European settlers ๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท
  • 250 years since the founding of the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
  • 75th and 65th anniversaries of the openings of the Detroit Historical Museum and Dossin Great Lakes Museum ๐ŸŒŠ

  • 9/17: Why 1701? โ€“ Lily Chen, Curatorial Coordinator
