Queer Writers of Queens

Join us every other month for a vibrant Queer Writers Meetup! This is a wonderful opportunity to:

• 🎯 Achieve writing goals
• 🤝 Connect with fellow writers in Queens
• 📜 Enjoy a safe space to share your work

Event Highlights:

• 🕒 The first 45 minutes will consist of greetings and quiet writing time.
• 💬 After that, we will encourage bonding and sharing of work (feel free to share or just listen!)
• ✍️ Writing prompts and materials like paper and utensils will be provided, but you're welcome to bring your own as well. Wi-Fi and power will be available for those with electronic devices.

😷 Health & Safety: Masks are required, and we will have them on hand if needed. The space is equipped with air purifiers to ensure a safe environment.

Accessibility:

• Our meetup will be hosted at the Queens Collaborative’s Collaboratory, located at 2107 41st Avenue, Long Island City, which is accessible via an ADA-compliant elevator.
• The venue features accessible gendered restrooms and a non-gendered, accessible single-stall restroom.
• Conveniently positioned right by the 21st Street Queensbridge F station, with nearby bus stops for Q66, Q69, Q100, Q102, and Q103.

How to Find Us:

• When you arrive at the building, please scan the QR code on the door to locate The Collaboratory in the directory.
• Take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.

Important Reminder:

• Mask Requirement: The Collaboratory is a Masks Required space. If you don’t have a mask, don’t worry—we’ll provide them at the door.
• If you are feeling unwell or suspect exposure to COVID, please consider staying home.

Refund Policy:
