There´s a Remassuri Going on!
With REMASSURI – an old Viennese word for chaos or commotion – the name truly says it all. This approximately 85-minute production invites you on a journey through Viennese music from the past to the present. Featuring excellent musicians, singers, mimes, shadow puppeteers and light effects. Based on ideas by André Heller, Ursula Strauss and Ernst Molden.
Go beyond the Danube Waltz and the Radetzky March to discover the charming “Wienerlied” (en. “Viennese song”), which resounded in Viennese pubs and taverns throughout the 19th and 20th centuries and has lost none of its charm to this day. Look forward to an authentic glimpse into the Vienna of past centuries, full of its humour, cosiness and melancholy.
At the invitation of the Austrian Cultural Forum in Prague, this show is being staged in the Czech Republic for the first time. The songs are performed in German and in the Viennese dialect.
