Ride for the Ely community and celebrate 50 years of protecting the Boundary Waters!

Join us for a special 50th anniversary bike ride supporting the local communities impacted by the 2026 Boundary Waters wildfires. Proceeds from the event will go directly to Ely-area nonprofits and the Mesabi Trail Association, helping support the people and organizations that make this region so special.

We'll ride from Ely to Soudan and back, with long and short course options available:

• Long Course: 47.4 miles | Starts at 8:00 AM
• Short Course: 27.8 miles | Starts at 9:00 AM

After the ride, celebrate your finish with food trucks, fellow riders, and the Ely community! 🎊

Not riding? Join the ride crew where the fun is! We need volunteers throughout the day to help with event setup, aid stations, road crossings, and keeping the finish line celebration rolling. Volunteers receive a free lunch and merch while helping make this event possible for the community.

• Entry Fee: $20 per rider ($10 for participants under 19)
• Registration Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM CT
• Event Capacity: 250 participants
