The World Cup may have just concluded in LA, but now it's time for robots to shine on the pitch! Join AI LA and Qualcomm Technologies for an exhilarating, day-long hack event where coding meets competitive soccer.

🛠️ The Hack: Training Your Star Player

Kick off the day with an intensive "Training Camp"! Participants will receive a pre-assembled robot car and an UNO Q board—a dual-brain marvel combining Arduino simplicity with Qualcomm’s Linux-capable processor. Use tools like Arduino® App Lab and Edge Impulse to develop your robot's computer vision and logic to:

• Identify the ball on the field
• Outmaneuver opponents in real-time
• Strike with precision to score goals (bonus points for celebrations!)

🏆 The Tournament: 1-on-1 World Cup Style

After training, it's game time! Join our 32-team, single-elimination tournament on three dedicated playing fields.

• Format: 1-on-1 Robot Soccer
• Duration: 5-minute lightning matches
• Stakes: "Win or Go Home"—only victors advance

Didn’t make it past the first rounds? No worries! We’ll have a Redemption Bracket for additional prize opportunities.

Tie-breakers will be determined by ball touches to assess each team's hustle!
