Rört Dance Ensemble - A Collective of Moving Stories 🌟

Join us for an exciting journey of creativity and expression! We invite dancers, movers, storytellers, and body poets to be part of the Rört Dance Ensemble, a vibrant new performance group focusing on the power of movement and storytelling.

This is your chance to create and explore choreography in a collaborative environment. Together, we will blend dance, theater, and raw physical expression to craft captivating performances. Through group improvisation, partnering, and deep listening, we will uncover stories that reside in our bodies and transform them into art.

Who Is It For?

This ensemble is perfect for those eager to train, play, and perform in a space where presence and connection matter as much as form. We welcome curious and open movers ready to dive into a creative process, culminating in a 20-minute performance at the end of the course.

Committing to Practice

Being a part of the Rört Dance Ensemble means committing to yourself, your group, and the artistic process. Therefore, attendance at all practices is essential. Please sign up only if you can commit to this journey, with understanding for any unexpected circumstances.

Location and Rehearsal Schedule

All rehearsals take place at Rört, located at Thoravej 35, 2400 København NV, Danmark.

• Sunday, Oct 4th: 11:30 - 14:30
• Saturday, Oct 10th: 15:30 - 18:30
• Sunday, Oct 18th: 11:30 - 14:30
• Sunday, Oct 25th: 11:30 - 14:30
• Saturday, Oct 31st: 15:30 - 17:00 (self-practice in the Rört studio)
• Sunday, Nov 8th: Performance Day in the afternoon (exact time TBD)

About the Teachers

The Rört Dance Ensemble is led by Ida Frost and Malou Dee, two passionate educators at Rört, who share a deep love for dance, theatre, and community.

• Ida Frost: A diverse dancer and performer with a background in gymnastics, she embraces various styles from urban house grooves to contemporary and acrobatics.
• Malou Dee: With a foundation in dance theatre and contemporary styles, she currently choreographs for performances and nurtures movement projects.
