Shut Up & Write!® in Amsterdam / Centre

Join us for an hour of focused writing in a supportive atmosphere! ✍️📚 Gather on the 7th floor of the Central Library Amsterdam on Wednesday mornings for a unique chance to write alongside fellow writers. Whether it’s a book, blog, script, essay, or poem, we invite you to bring your writing projects and dive in!

Schedule:

• 10:30 am - Quick introductions
• 10:45 am - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
• 11:45 am - The End: chat, take off, or keep writing

Important Notes:

• Late arrivals are okay! Just settle in and check in with the host (look for the "Shut Up & Write!" sign).
• After writing, feel free to share experiences and challenges with fellow writers! 🤝

What to Bring:

• Your writing materials (laptop, notebook, etc.)
• Earbuds/earplugs to block out cafe sounds
• Fully charged devices, as charging options may be limited.

Additional Information:

• If you’re new to the library, take a few minutes to connect to the Wi-Fi using the publicroam app.
• Important: Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed, but no compulsory purchases are required.

This event is a no-critique zone, fostering a comfortable environment for writers of all levels.
