Silicone Mould Making Course

Join us for a two-day intensive workshop on Silicone Mould Making at the beautiful London Sculpture Workshop! 🏛️ This hands-on course is perfect for beginners and those with some experience, focusing on the art of casting and creating flexible silicone rubber moulds.

What Will You Learn? 📚

• Day 1:

  • Introduction to silicone as a versatile material.
  • Create your first simple block mould using a small object (like a battery) to grasp mixing ratios and pouring techniques.
  • Begin making a 2-part flexible mould combined with a rigid plaster jacket, culminating in casting with various materials—plaster, wax, and concrete!

• Day 2:

  • Complete the second half of the 2-part mould.
  • Finish with demoulding your objects and casting into them!

What to Bring? 📦

Please bring two objects:

1. One the size of your thumb (simple form, e.g., a battery)
2. Another no larger than a grapefruit (more intricate, e.g., a toy)
