Sir Michael Beetham Conservation Centre Open

About the event

๐Ÿ” From late June to mid-July, the Royal Air Force Museum Midlands invites you to explore the Sir Michael Beetham Conservation Centre (MBCC)! This unique opportunity allows visitors to view new and recently acquired aircraft and artefacts currently in storage.

๐Ÿ•’ The Conservation Centre will be open daily from 10:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Get an exclusive sneak peek of the artefacts being prepared for our upcoming exhibition, โ€˜The RAF: 1980 to Todayโ€™, set to launch in early 2028.

โœˆ๏ธ Plus, don't miss your chance to step aboard our iconic VC10 and Nimrod aircraft โ€“ all free of charge! Details regarding the aircraft on display and their visiting hours will be provided upon arrival.

โš™๏ธ Note: The National Cold War Exhibition will be temporarily closed from 29 June to 10 July for routine maintenance. This crucial work will help preserve the aircraft on display and ensure their long-term care.

๐Ÿ”— We are excited to welcome you for these exclusive behind-the-scenes experiences! For more information, visit RAF Museum.
