Site Tour: PDX Airport with Sustainable NW
The PDX airport is one of Portland's claims to fame when it comes to sustainable architecture. It's the first major U.S. airport built with a mass timber roof, and it was designed with the ethos of benefitting the planet and local communities.
Join us on this airport tour, where we will hear from Sustainable Northwest and other key stakeholders about their design decisions, sustainable supply chain, and how this key port fits into Portland's broader climate initiatives.
The tour will be followed by a casual happy hour at Loyal Legion in the airport, where we will have a chance to continue the discussion with our fellow climate enthusiasts.
