Welcome to the special solar eclipse edition of our event! 🌒 We will watch the sun—always through eclipse glasses 😎, of course—and through a telescope 🔭 fitted with a solar filter ☀️.

In our events, we discuss, connect, and inspire each other by talking about the science of studying the Universe, black holes, the Big Bang 🌌, and other fascinating topics 🔭 in a casual and friendly environment 👩‍🚀.

Our discussions cover a range of subjects, from space exploration (human and robotic) to astrophysics, exoplanets, and even science fiction. We also explore our place in the universe as a species—living on a giant spaceship some call Spaceship Earth. We often discuss the challenges and opportunities in the age of AI and the accelerating changes we experience. Overall, it’s usually a very interesting and entertaining discussion, so it should be fun! 🎉

• 19:10 - Check-in and a short presentation about our discussion group
• 19:20 - Watching the sun through eclipse glasses and via a telescope 🔭
• Free discussion about eclipses, solar astrophysics, and the Universe in general
• 21:00 - Closing and check-out
• 21:15 - We often stay longer if anyone wants to continue the discussion—it's great fun but not a requirement!
