About Sound Sessions:

Aarhus Lydforening, in collaboration with various venues in Aarhus and Copenhagen, is thrilled to present an initiative aimed at elevating your sound engineering ambitions. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment for aspiring sound engineers where you can practice, experiment, and inquire, while building confidence to step into the professional live sound scene.

Sound Sessions serve as a bridge between educational workshops and live concerts, nurturing a community of sound engineers ready to face future challenges together.

What to Expect:

  • A brief introduction to the venue’s mixer and technical setup
  • Engaging practical assignments and hands-on experiences
  • A welcoming space to practice, inquire, and prepare for real-world scenarios
  • Opportunities for direct connection with local venues and professional sound engineers
  • Chances to work as a sound engineer at concerts

Who Is It For?

This session is perfect for those with basic knowledge in sound engineering who want to hone their skills through hands-on learning. If you’re new and looking for a more intensive experience, consider joining our #YouCanAlsoBeASoundEngineer three-day workshop, which will be announced soon for Aarhus this fall.

This event primarily targets young individuals (16–35), especially women and non-binary individuals across Denmark interested in live sound engineering and music technology, but everyone is welcome!
