About the Tutors:

• Ana Gomes - Hailing from a small village near Mafra, Ana discovered her passion for wood in her grandfather's carpentry workshop. After carving her first spoon in 2018, she became a self-taught maker, enriching her skills through international events and workshops. She now shares her work and leads workshops.
• Sílvio Soares - A longtime supporter of Cerdeira, Sílvio helps run courses and is an instructor in the Escola do Mato project in Sesimbra. His friendly and generous approach makes him a perfect guide for this craft.
