🛡️ Land Acknowledgement:
Sugar Shack TO occurs on the treaty lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, specifically the Toronto Purchase Treaty, No. 13, and the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee and Wendat. It is also home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. Much like these Indigenous communities, Sugar Shack TO is dedicated to respecting and sharing the land peacefully, as it is intrinsic to our existence. This land acknowledgement is just one step toward supporting our Indigenous communities. We invite others to join us in solidarity and support.
