Join us for a creative afternoon at the gallery! 🌟 Participate in a hands-on printmaking activity featuring the talented Tanner Schudlich from Stout Heart Press. You'll have the chance to pull prints and adorn small letterpress broadside posters using an array of both new and antique wood type and ornaments. Don't miss the chance to explore Marianetta Porter: Breath, Fragment, Return, where you can delve deeper into printmaking and letterpress artistry.

About the Guest Artist:
Tanner Schudlich (he/they) is a librarian, archivist, social worker, printmaker, and bookbinder based in Ypsilanti, MI. His work navigates themes of grief, memory, hope, and despair. Tanner utilizes his Vandercook No. 099 cylinder proofing press, along with communal Vandercook No. 3 and No. 1 presses at the University of Michigan Book Arts Studio. Outside of teaching and working in the studio, he operates Stout Heart Press, a small private press, from his home shared with his partner and two adorable cats. 🐱🐱
