SwapArt – Curated Exchange Event: A new way to collect art, design objects and collectibles

Event Description:
SwapArt is a curated exchange format for art, design and collectible objects.
You’re invited to bring up to three pieces you’re ready to let go of, and explore potential exchanges with others — whether through direct swaps, swaps with a price difference, or purchase.
Each object is pre-selected and assigned an indicative value range, supported by an expert during the event, to ensure a transparent and balanced exchange.
The evening is designed as an intimate and guided environment, encouraging meaningful conversations, discovery, and new connections around objects and their stories.

1. Request to join
   Request access to the event.
2. Submit your pieces
   You’ll receive a short form to share the pieces you’d like to bring.
3. Get selected
   If approved, you’ll receive confirmation and can secure your spot.
   You’ll only be charged once your participation is confirmed.

   💸 Facilitation
   A 5% fee per person applies to successful exchanges or transactions.

   18:30 – 20:30 Exchange
   🎨 What you can bring
   Up to 3 pieces within an indicative value range of €100–€2,000, with some flexibility depending on the piece.
   The selection may include works by both emerging and established artists or designers.
   Includes:
   • Modern and Contemporary Art (20th century onwards)
   (paintings, works on paper, photography, editions, small sculptures)
   • Design furniture and objects
   (lamps, chairs, armchairs, side tables, vases, ceramics and other collectible design pieces)
   Please note: oversized furniture pieces cannot be accommodated for this first edition.
   ✨ Notes
   • Light drinks and small bites will be available throughout the evening
   • Items should be easy to handle and not overly large
   • Spaces are limited to maintain a curated and balanced experience

Chiara Assalve is a professional working across the art and luxury sectors, with experience in online auctions, private sales and collectible markets.

She has worked closely with collectors and platforms, developing a strong understanding of value, pricing and exchange.

Through SwapArt, she explores new formats of exchange and ownership, creating curated spaces for connection and discovery.
