Join us for a special screening of The Disappearance of Miss Scott, an Emmy-nominated PBS American Masters documentary that celebrates the incredible life of jazz virtuoso and screen icon Hazel Scott. ๐ŸŒŸ Scott was the first Black American to host her own national television show, and she was a trailblazing artist as well as an early civil rights advocate. This film showcases her bold confrontation of the Red Scare and her commitment to championing equality.
