Delve into the captivating narratives surrounding two elephant tusks submerged in the ocean for over two centuries. This free event, curated by roda – soft water on hard stone (Katarina Stenbeck & Carla Zaccagnini), complements Jonelle Twum’s exhibition “In the wake of waiting, the sea remembers” in ANA.
Event Overview:
🌟 Theme: Engage in stories spanning time and space as we discuss the history of these tusks that were lost during transport from London to Bombay in 1743, and are now showcased in the Museum of the Sea in Mindelo.
