About the event

LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Join us for a creative night in a cozy, dimly lit basement, where we'll craft beats while sipping La Croix and enjoying some laughs with quirky samples! No experience is necessary, and teaming up with fellow enthusiasts is encouraged.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. Come at 7 PM sharp!
  2. We’ll circulate a flash drive for everyone to drop in a sound.
  3. Then, we’ll pass the flash drive again to collect all the sounds.
  4. Using only the provided samples, each of us will create a unique beat (let's see who can stick to just the samples!).
  5. At the end, we’ll listen to the beats played through the sound system.
    WE ALL WIN!!!!!

Compilation

At the end of summer, we’ll each contribute a song to a compilation that will be released on Bandcamp! 🌟

Donations

Optional donations are appreciated to help cover drink costs since there are no working drinking fountains at TIAT. I’ll be picking up some La Croix and possibly coconut water. Donations will also help cover the expenses for the sound system and lights. ❤️

Hang Out After

If there’s still energy, we might grab some Thai food nearby and hang out until midnight-ish! 🍜
