Tiny Art Trade (All Skill Levels)

Join us for a creative afternoon at the Tiny Art Trade! 🌟 Bring between 1 to 30+ tiny original artworks (2.5”x3.5”) to trade with local artists. The more you bring, the more trading opportunities await you!

✨ All skill levels and mediums/styles are welcome. This is a relaxed and fun event aimed at enjoying art rather than selling or impressing anyone. Physical artworks should be small enough to fit in your closed hand (think Lego minifigs!).

🎉 Don't have anything ready? No worries! Feel free to come anyway. We'll have a small starter supplies table with blank cards, pens, markers, and tape for you to create a piece on the spot.

🖌️ BYO Art Supplies! We encourage parallel play, so feel free to stay, chat, and work on something fun together!

📍 Location: 121 S 2nd St, Wilmington, NC 28401-4458, United States

🕑 Schedule: 2–4pm — Intros at 2:10, trading starts at 2:15, and you can start working on your art at any point! An art demo will take place at 3.

👶 Age Group: Participants have ranged from 6 to 50 years old, and we’d love to see even more ages join in! Please ensure your child can communicate respectfully with adults and remain seated throughout the event.

🌈 Past mediums include: watercolor, gouache, acrylic paint, hand-carved stamps, tiny card making, oil pastels, ballpoint pen, collaging, clay, and metal.
