About the event

๐ŸŽ‰ TMAC <> Carnaval San Francisco Service Rally!

TMAC has an incredible opportunity to join forces with Carnaval San Francisco as a community partner! ๐Ÿค Carnaval has set an ambitious goal of recruiting 300 volunteers for this beloved festival โ€” and we want you to be part of it!

๐Ÿ™‹ Volunteer Shift Opportunities

๐ŸŸก Saturday โ€” Entrance Greeter

โฐ 10:00 AM โ€“ 2:30 PM

Be the first face festivalgoers see! Entrance Greeters are stationed at one of the festival's eight entrances, working in pairs or small groups to warmly welcome attendees, hand out promotional items, and encourage donations using a provided QR code and script. Set the tone for an unforgettable day!

๐ŸŸ  Sunday โ€” Safety Ambassador

โฐ 9:00 AM โ€“ 3:00 PM

Help keep the celebration safe and joyful! Safety Ambassadors patrol the parade route, monitoring barricades and watching for unsafe behavior (such as children leaning over barricades), stepping in politely whenever needed to ensure everyone stays protected.

๐Ÿ”ด Sunday โ€” Destaging Area Team

โฐ 10:00 AM โ€“ 4:00 PM

Manage the parade exit at 15th Street between Folsom & Harrison. Volunteers will guide floats and comparsas off the route, keeping the flow safe and organized as performers transition into designated areas.

๐ŸŽ All Volunteers Receive:

  • ๐ŸŽ Snacks & lunch
  • ๐Ÿ’ง Water
  • ๐Ÿ‘• A free T-shirt!
