About the event

Join us for the annual Unmistakable Public Art Exhibition (previously known as the Outdoor Downtown Sculpture Exhibition) walking tour! 🚶‍♀️✨ Gather at 9th and Massachusetts St. to explore this year's exhibition, celebrating the spirit of the World Cup through six unique artworks. Each piece presents a distinctive creative perspective on public art and the beloved sport.

Featured Installations:

  • Soka Kila Mahali/Soccer Everywhere by Gary Mark Smith – a captivating photo collage displayed on a banner at Lawrence City Hall (6 E 6th St.), available until July. 📸
  • Gestura by Nathaniel Pierce – a stunning stainless steel and acrylic sculpture located at the southwest corner of 7th and Massachusetts streets. ⚙️
  • Fútbol 50 v 50 by Randall Warren – a vibrant painted steel sculpture at the Lawrence Public Library plaza (707 Vermont St.). 🌈
  • Close up, Far Out and Six Sides of Connection by Alicia Kelly – eye-catching cut window graphics at The Roost (812 Massachusetts St.). 🖼️ (coming soon)
