Experience the vibrant festivities including river rafting, herring lunches, cap-donning celebrations, choir singing, and an array of exciting events hosted by student nations. With over 100,000 visitors, this is the ultimate celebration of Valborg in Sweden!

🎊 Mainly celebrated on April 30, but events take place through the week! Here’s a sneak peek of what a typical Valborg day looks like:

• 07:00–09:30 – Champagne breakfast
• 10:00 – Exciting river rafting in Fyris River
• 11:30 – Traditional herring lunch
• 15:00 – Donning of the caps at Carolinabacken (don’t forget your student cap!)
• 15:15 – Champagne gallop at various student nations and parks
• 15:15 – Special choir performance by Orphei Drängar
• 18:00 – Spring ball by Allmänna Sången at Uppsala Castle
• 21:00 – Spring speech by the Curator Curatorum at Gunilla Bell Tower alongside a performance by Allmänna Sången
• 21:00 and onwards – Student nation parties or enjoy a traditional Walpurgis bonfire!
