📣 Vašulka Kitchen Brno in collaboration with Brno Artists in Residence invites you to apply for an international Open Call aimed at artists and theoreticians working in new media art! This residency runs from 12 October to 12 December 2026.

🗓️ Important Dates:

• Application Deadline: 15 March 2026
• Announcement of Results: By 30 April 2026

🏢 The Residency Program offers young artists an opportunity to engage in a creative dialogue within an inspiring environment. Main highlights include:

• Access to the Center of New Media Art: Explore our digital archive and reference library.
• Work in three dedicated studios on the top floor of the House of the Lords of Kunštát.
• Present your work to both professional and public audiences through exhibitions, discussions, and lectures.

💰 What We Offer:

• Stipend: 40,000 CZK
• Accommodation: Residential apartment at Orlí 9, and studio at Dominikánská 9, 602 00 Brno, Czech Republic.
• Technical Support: Access to studio equipment and networking opportunities with local experts.

👥 Eligibility:
We're looking for active artists or theoreticians in new media art. You should aim to be in Brno over 75% of the residency and participate in community programs.

Your application should include:

1. Motivational Letter (max. 3,000 characters).
2. CV (max. 1 page).
3. Portfolio (max. 10 MB); include links to video files instead of downloadable links.
