Join us as Velocity kicks off Waterloo Tech Week 2026 with the highly anticipated Velocity Pitch Competition! 🎉

Event Details:

• 100 Pitches
• 100 Judges
• One Day of Lightning Pitches

Come out to support the top 10 student teams vying for more than just exposure — they have the chance to win a $5,000 top prize! 💰

Schedule:

• Registration for final awards: 1:30 PM
• Final awards: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM

• Apply to Judge: Are you a founder, Velocity or UWaterloo alumni, or community member? Become a judge!
• Apply to Pitch: Current UWaterloo students can apply for a two-minute lightning pitch before August 28.
