About Lin Rountree:

Meet Lin Rountree, affectionately known as The Soul-Trumpeter! With nine solo projects and 24 chart-topping Billboard singles (including FIVE #1 hits), he is a leading innovator in the Instrumental Soul/R&B genre.

Lin began his musical journey at just 11 years old, honing his skills at the prestigious Duke Ellington School for Performing Arts. Following his high school graduation, he performed with the Marching 100 at Florida A&M University under the admired direction of William P. Foster and Dr. Julian White. His love for jazz music blossomed, inspired by legends like Miles Davis and Freddie Hubbard.

After earning a degree in Business Administration, Lin made his mark in Detroit, forming a band that quickly captured regional acclaim. His debut CD, "GROOVETREE", received international recognition, followed by successful albums like SUMTHIN' GOOD and SOULTREE.

His collaboration with Trippin' N Rhythm Records led to several acclaimed projects, showcasing his soulful sound and creativity. Lin has also performed alongside top artists such as KEM and George Duke and made an unforgettable appearance in the film "SPARKLE" with Whitney Houston. 🎥✨
