Womens Walking Group -Burham to Wouldham Valley Loop – 5.5miles / 9 KM

Join our Kent Women’s Walking Group for a delightful and scenic 5.5-mile circular walk starting in the charming village of Burham! 🥾

🚶‍♀️ Overview:

Experience the beauty of the countryside as we stroll along the Medway Valley Path, enjoying varied landscapes, peaceful riverside trails, and open marshes. This circular route takes you into the quaint village of Wouldham, leading us to the Burham Down Nature Reserve. Here, we’ll ascend to higher ground, where breathtaking views across the Medway Valley await!

🌳 Route Details:

• Begin your adventure along quiet paths heading towards the serene Medway Valley Path and Burham Marshes.
• Enjoy calm walking along flat riverside paths as we pass through Wouldham, preparing for the climb ahead.
• Encounter a steady ascent through the Burham Down Nature Reserve—the steepest section of our journey, rewarding us with stunning vistas!
• Continue along the North Downs Way, soaking in the rolling hills and picturesque scenery.
• Finally, loop back towards Burham, gradually descending on tranquil countryside paths.

Are you new or feeling a bit nervous about coming solo? You're not alone! Approximately 80% of our members join us on their own and quickly find friendship and support within our warm community. It's all about making connections, sharing experiences, and enjoying nature together! 🌍💚

👩‍🏫 Walk Leader:

Your walk leader is a fully trained Lowland Leader with an enhanced DBS check, outdoors first aid training, and expertise in nutrition, wellness, and female health. MJ Outdoor Adventures is fully insured—your safety is our priority!

🌄 Plan Ahead:

• Distance: 5.5 miles / 9 KM
• Terrain: Woodland and countryside paths with one steeper incline.
• What to Bring: Snacks and at least 1.5 liters of water. Don't forget your lunch!
• Dogs: Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. 🐶
