Write In!

🚨 PLEASE NOTE: We don't meet in the lobby! That’s just the only available option for the location. Please head to the 7th floor (accessed by Elevator A) and walk back to the register with the pizza oven. We'll be sitting at one or both of the long rectangular tables.

The group began in November 2016 as a Nanowrimo write-in group. We met all month and decided to stick together afterward! We focus on our own writing, but often engage in word wars, sprints, and even writing prompts along the way.

Initially, we met at OBA Amsterdam before moving to Scheltema—a perfect spot with ample tables, cozy chairs, internet, and coffee. However, like many others, Covid affected our ability to meet there.

Now, we’re back at the Central Library in Amsterdam, on the 7th floor, in the restaurant near the hot food pickup point. To find us, take Elevator A (upon entering the library, walk up the steps and look to your right) to the 7th floor. Walk straight back past the initial register and buffet until you reach the hot food pickup point.
