Taking place at Stirling Community Theatre from August 7 to August 15, this production, written by former HYT tutor Karen Houghton, explores life in the Adelaide Hills during World War I—not on the battlefield but on the home front. 🌄

Under the direction of Ben Proeve and co-director Harri Wolff, this show dives deep into the emotional experiences of the Green family and their community as they face enlistment, separation, and social divisions. 💔

Through poignant letters from soldiers and nurses, the echoes of war reshuffle daily life, showcasing the human cost of conflict and its enduring impact on small communities. The production will also touch on the unique experiences of German-Australian communities during this transformative period. 🇦🇺
