Sobre el evento

🕺 Join us for another Next Generation drinks on Tuesday, 5th May! 💃
This month, we’re thrilled to welcome Kitty Thompson, Head of Campaigns at the Conservative Environment Network (CEN). Kitty’s a powerhouse in the green space, heading up CEN’s nature programme, with its work covering water quality and security, agriculture, habitats and land use change, resource efficiency and security, and ocean conservation. And, when she’s not leading national campaigns, she’s diving into an MSc in Behavioural Science at the LSE.
We often hear that capitalism is destroying the natural world. Kitty is here to flip that script. She’ll be challenging the idea that freedom and conservation are at odds, showing instead how market-led outcomes can protect our planet while helping humanity thrive.

A bit more about these meetings:
At TNGs, we throw our doors open to Westminster’s finest to enjoy a political discussion over a few glasses of (free) wine. Open to parliamentary staffers, journos, SpAds, consultants, students and even the odd civil servant, TNGs are a place to network, chat, relax and always feature great remarks from our guest speaker. Whatever your politics, we just like interesting ideas and we hope you do too. It’s for under-35s, it’s informal and we normally end up at the Marquis of Granby. If we reach capacity with RSVPs, we will add you to our waiting list and let you know if a place becomes available.
Please note this event is exclusively for under-35s.
