Inside Out: Strengthening Inner Resilience and Community Ties in the Polycrisis
Join us for an enlightening and interactive workshop aimed at enhancing emotional and relational resilience among change-makers in an era of profound ecological, economic, and political challenges. As the climate crisis deepens, the pressure on climate professionals often leads to burnout, anxiety, and isolation. It's crucial for those at the forefront of community and climate efforts to find sustainable ways to support themselves and each other.
In this 2.5-hour session, facilitated by organizations like 🌿 Climate Care Collaborative, 🌍 Force of Nature, and 💫 Six Seconds, we will explore:
- Somatic grounding techniques for personal rejuvenation
- Group sharing to foster connections and allyship
- Collective imagining for future resilience
Snacks and drinks will be provided, and travel bursaries are available for those who need financial assistance.
Venue: Unitarian Church at Essex Hall - Please be aware of accessibility concerns, as the venue does not currently have a wheelchair ramp. We can provide lighter wheelchairs for easier access.
