Shut Up & Write! [Amsterdam/ IJburg]

Join us for an invigorating hour of writing! ✍️ We've found that writing alongside fellow writers can be incredibly beneficial. Experience this for yourself at Factor-ij in Amsterdam on Thursday mornings.

Whether you’re working on a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or any other writing project, you're welcome to create with us. Your work remains private, and there’s no unsolicited feedback. Instead of just contemplating writing, come and accomplish real progress!

📅 Schedule:

• 11:15 AM - Quick introductions
• 11:30 AM - Timer starts: write for 1 hour
• 12:30 PM - The End: mingle, leave, or continue writing

🗨️ Optional Socializing

At 12:30 PM, after the writing session, feel free to connect with fellow attendees. Writing can be a solitary activity, and sharing experiences can be quite rewarding!

⏰ Being Late is Okay!

Just show up, get comfortable, and check in with me after the session. I'll be the one holding the "Shut Up & Write!" sign. If you arrive on time, please make space for the friendly latecomers.

🧳 What to Bring:

• Anything you need to write!
• Consider bringing earplugs or earbuds if you'd like to block out the café's background music or conversations.
• Ensure your devices are fully charged, as charging options may be limited.

1. Take Tram 26 from Amsterdam Central Station and get off at the last stop.
