English Country Dance

Join us for a delightful evening of English Country Dancing! 🎶 This social dance event runs from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, offering a joyful opportunity to engage with this centuries-old tradition. From the grand courts of Queen Elizabeth I to the charming novels of Jane Austen, these dances bring a vibrant cultural heritage to life.

What to Expect:

• Enjoy lively music that can be stately or spritely, both recorded and live.
• Dances are taught, featuring simple walking and skipping steps.
• Participate in long-ways sets with partners facing each other, making for an interactive experience.
• Welcome to all, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer! Partner changes are encouraged, and anyone can dance with anyone, enhancing the warming community spirit.
