
Meditation 101: Intro to Buddhist Practice
Are you curious about meditation or looking to deepen your practice? Join us for an introductory class on Chan Buddhist meditation where we cover:
- How to achieve a stable posture.
- Techniques for managing body and mind.
- Setting up a sustainable practice at home.
There will be plenty of time for Q&A and sharing experiences. Each segment builds on the previous one, so punctuality is key! Doors open at 6:15 PM, and the class starts promptly at 6:30 PM.

About the Instructor
Beth Adelman has been meditating for nearly 20 years, beginning with Larry Rosenberg at the Cambridge Insight Meditation Center. She continues her practice of Chan Buddhism and is actively involved with the Dharma Drum Meditation Center in NYC, leading Walking Meditations and facilitating Tea, Chat & Meditation evenings.
