From 3 PM to 4:30 PM, immerse yourself in a participatory singing and storytelling workshop. This is a gathering for everyone, whether you sing or not! It focuses on sharing stories and songs rather than performance, reviving the rich tradition of oral storytelling that has faded in modern society. Inspired by Sacred Harp singing from the Appalachian mountains and traditional Sheffield pub carols, this workshop invites you to reconnect with forgotten narratives. Frances Patrick Brady will lead the way, blending techniques from LARP and his previous project, The Choir of Not Knowing.

Tale Telling Circle 📖

From 5 PM to 7 PM, join us for an enriching Tale Telling Circle with Francis Patrick Brady, Tone Olaf Nielsen, Marit-Shirin Carolasdotter, and Louise Fontain. This circle is a space for storytelling, where everyone is encouraged to share their tales — whether they’re about creation, journeys, or riddles. Everyone who attends can listen and offer their stories.

This exhibition delves into the art of oral storytelling and the significance of origin stories. Oral exchanges are vital in passing knowledge through generations, allowing us to bypass institutional narratives. Nyberg’s exploration blends Swedish and Saami folk traditions with contemporary art practices. Experience an installation featuring tapestries and props, and engage with workshops aimed at revitalizing collective myth-making.
