The exhibition makes use of the greatest exhibits from the collection of The National Ethnographic Museum in Warsaw. The narrative presents the peasants’ take on the Bible and their understanding of the world and bases on Biblical
and apocryphal elements of the story of the Salvation, present in folk art. The exhibits make us realise the coherence and timelessness of the presented reality, they help us discover our own identity and are mirrors for our souls. This notion is close to everyone’s heart, after all most of us can trace their roots to somewhere in the countryside.
