• Establish a karmic connection with the deity, planting seeds for future realization.
• Receive the refuge and bodhisattva vows during the initiation, necessary for participating in the jenang.
• Although no sadhana practice is required, reciting Green Tara’s mantra daily is encouraged for those who take the initiation.
