Monthly breathwork circle: Life Keeps Going (Genesis Owusu)

Join us this month at Fountain Street Church for a transformative breathwork circle!

In our fast-paced world, we're often expected to quickly adapt to each moment. However, true wisdom reminds us that life keeps progressing and tomorrow always awaits. During this session, we will honor our feelings and let them guide us toward a future that serves all of us 🌈.

We’ll be vibing to the soulful sounds of Genesis Owusu, the Ghanaian-Australian rapper and singer 🎶.

What to Expect:

• Introductions and setting intentions
• Tarot readings to deepen our connection
• Guided practices to prepare for active breathing
• 30 minutes of active breathing while immersed in music, followed by sharing experiences in a brief integration session

What is Breathwork?

Breathwork is an active meditation process that allows you to reach a profound state of relaxation through rhythmic breathing 🌬️.

Preparation Tips:

• 🛑 Avoid alcohol and mind-altering substances 24 hours beforehand (optional but recommended)
• 🍽️ Come with an empty stomach or eat lightly to ensure comfort
• 👚 Wear loose, comfortable clothing (e.g., sweat or yoga pants)

What to Bring:

• 👁️ Blindfold / eye pillow (available for purchase: $10)
• 💧 Water bottle
• 🧘 Yoga mat
• 🌟 Pillow or blanket (available at the studio)
• 🌿 Any oils, crystals, or items that resonate with your spiritual journey

Aftercare:

Take it easy after the practice. Ensure you nourish your body with wholesome food and consider an Epsom salt bath for relaxation 🛁.
