It's important to note that the film remains banned in Kenya, making this screening all the more crucial for awareness and dialogue.

After the film, engage in a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring voices from both East Africa and Finland:

• John Mutiro: A Kenyan queer activist and programme officer at KIOS, currently studying international law and human rights at Åbo Akademi University.
• Prince Mikel Juao: A transmasculine activist from Malawi, advocating for LGBTQI+ rights in a context still grappling with colonial-era laws.
• Hanna Sarkkinen: A Member of Parliament from the Left Alliance, dedicated to advancing human rights and LGBTIQ+ issues in her political platform.
• Krista "Kit" Mottisenkangas: A 23-year-old queer activist from Rovaniemi, committed to using art and storytelling as powerful forms of activism.

This panel will explore vital topics such as identity, safety, community, and the conditions necessary for queer individuals to thrive in dignity and pride. 🤝💖

Audience interaction is highly encouraged, with ample time for questions and open discussions.
